14th February 2010 - Dinamo v Finedon Vics
 
Team: Nathan, Bradley, Austin, Ben, Jack, Peter, Josh, Sean, and Kieran.
 
First Half
On a cold morning at the OG’s, Dinamo came out showing their intent taking the game straight to Finedon. After four minutes, Sean’s cross finds Peter, who in turn passes to Kieran, who his rewarded for his early efforts with the first goal of the day. 1-0 to Dinamo. The game continues with  the action in midfield and then on six minutes, Peter picks up from a throw in and his cross finds Josh who scores, making it 2-0. Finedon then start to get into the game and they start to apply some pressure. Finedon force two corners and it is good work by Sean and a couple of saves by Nathan that maintain the scoreline. Dinamo survive the pressure and on twelve minutes, after Kieran and Jack scramble in the Finedon goal mouth, Peter picks up the loose ball and neatly scores making it 3-0. Finedon apply some more pressure in the final minutes, and it is Ben who confidently stops the attack. The final ball of the half is a free kick by Josh, who makes a long range shot on goal, but hits the side netting.
 
Half Time score 3-0.
 
Second Half
Austin and Brad come on for the second half and Austin is straight into action with an early clearance. The game is mainly played in midfield with both teams having forays into the opposite half. Austin and Ben work hard to control the Finedon advances, and Finedon have a number of shots wide. At the other end, it is Sean and Jack who are working hard to get the ball forward. By now the pitch is getting very sticky, but still the boys carried on working hard in the conditions. Finedon have a couple more  shots, and from a goal kick, Nathan spots Jack, who after a good, battling run, calmly slots the ball home. Thirteen minutes and the score is 4-0. Another burst of energy for the final minutes of action. On fourteen minutes, Peter picks up the ball in defence and passes to Bradley, who makes a good run, and connects with Kieran who scores, 5-0. There is time for one final attack and it is Kieran who provides for Bradley, but the shot is saved. An exciting game in difficult conditions, where the boys worked hard and played well as team, and this is why the are unbeaten in 2010!
 
Full Time score 5-0.
