Our first game of the season in Division 2 pitted us against Ise Lodge Eagles, I wish I could say it was exciting end to end stuff but unfortunately it wasn’t.

We dominated the game from start to finish, our goalkeepers only touched the ball about a dozen times between them and did not have a shot to save, this was mainly due to our defence who did not allow the Eagles to get near the goal.

The midfield five all worked hard and got stuck in to keep supplying the strikers with opportunities on goal. Danny took his goal well with the team’s second goal. Our 2 forwards both opened their accounts with Reagan getting the first and Jack scoring the third and fourth goals. Jack’s all round hard work and goals gained him today’s man of the match award.

We need to iron out a few teething problems for next week and to remember not to let our heads drop if things don’t go to plan just keep focusing on the job in hand.

It was a great start to the season from all the boys and our new signing’s Ross and Reagan both settled in well and made an impact on the game. Let’s hope there is more of the same to come this season.
