Another cracking game from the Panthers against their fellow Club Mates, the South Rushden Jaguars.

The Panthers kicked off, the ball was quickly taken from them by the Jaguars, but a great defensive touch by Oliver forced a throw in taken by David, leading to a corner by Louis. Again the Jaguars moved in and they moved the ball back up to their end of the pitch. Henry took a goal kick, launching the ball back down the pitch to allow Louis a shot at goal, just off target. The goal kick was deflected by Spencer to David, who took a shot on target but was skilfully saved by their goalie. Another shot by Louis, again just off target. The Jaguars were putting on the pressure. Another attempt at goal by Louis was closely followed by another shot from David who forcefully found the back of the net.

Some good passing & tackling from Oliver & Will gave Louis another shot at goal, this time he shot it straight past their keeper into the net.

The Jaguars were now upping the ante with a shot at goal, just off target. Chloe used her defensive skills to keep the pressure on the Jaguars. They forced a corner; a cracking long shot at goal from Flynn was on target but saved by their keeper.

Then followed some superb goal keeping skills from Henry who prevented the Jaguars scoring several successive shots at goal.

A corner by Louis met a Jaguar player; Oliver sent it back up the field to be picked up by the Jaguars who tried another shot at goal, off target.

There was then much tackling & passing of the ball between the teams, with good defensive action from Flynn, Oliver and Will. Jaguars had another shot at goal, again off target.

Flynn deflected a Jaguar corner, and then continued to tackle well. Another Jaguar corner was well cleared by Henry to be picked up by Will who ran it up the field. A corner from Louis led to a throw in by David to Louis, who took a shot at goal which went over the cross bar. Will then had a shot at goal which unfortunately just went wide.

Two more Jaguar shots at goal were again saved by Henry and the ball passed back down the pitch. The Jaguars ran the ball back up the pitch only to have another two shots saved by Henry.

Adam forced a throw in which led to a goal kick with some excellent passing between Chloe & Oliver then Adam, David & Will.

Spencer, Will & Flynn put in some great tackling to keep possession of the ball amongst growing pressure from the Jaguars. Some great passing between Will & Louis lead to another opportunity for Louis to shoot, however the ball went into the side of the net.

Henry was rewarded with Player of the Match for his great Goal Keeping.

Credit to every player, the Panthers showed that strength is in team work.
