SPARTAK 2 DINAMO 1

The second game of the season saw Spartak up against Dinamo. The starting line up was Lewis, Callum, Joe, Liam, Connor, Kyle  and James.  The game starts briskly with both sides getting well stuck in. Soon Spartak have advanced and are deep in the Dinamo half and the ball goes out for a corner. Liam takes the corner and it is cleared, Josh gets the ball and goes down the wing, but Callum is there to shepherd the ball
out of play. From the throw Spartak advance Bradley intercepts and goes
on a run. His run is stopped by a great tackle from James and the ball is cleared. Spartak advance again and Connor plays the ball to James, he shoots, but the ball is saved by Nathan. From the kick Joe intercepts and passes to Connor who goes on a great run, but Nathan stops the shot and clears up pitch and the ball goes out for a throw. From the throw Sean heads the ball, the ball is crossed from the left and Kyle is left unmarked to side foot the ball home, 1-0 to Spartak. 

From the kick off Connor and James go on the attack, but Dinamo intercept and send Josh through on a goal bound run, unfortunately the ball goes out for a goal kick. Soon Spartak attack again and Joe breaks down the left and shoots just wide of the Dinamo goal. From the goal kick Kyle gets the ball and combines with Connor. Connor weaves his way across the pitch then switches back to shoot, but the shot goes across
the goal. 

Nathan clears his lines and after a few challenges Connor is hurt, he is substituted by Sam P.  Soon Sam is on a run but gets tackled by Sean and the ball is cleared.

Half time 1-0

Half time changes are Harry and Evan.

From the kick off Dinamo attack and advance up the field. Spartak can not get the ball clear and Dinamo keep pushing. Spartak clear the ball, but it soon comes back. It bounces awkwardly and they can not get it up the pitch. After a scramble the ball is cleared, but only as far a Josh.  Josh lines up a shot and the ball goes into the net 1-1.

From the kick off Spartak advance and from the left Liam crosses and Harry has a chance, but the ball goes over the bar. 

Quickly Dinamo put Josh through again and this time he shoots and Lewis makes a great save and parries the ball to another Dinamo player who shoots, but Lewis saves again! The ball breaks down the pitch with Joe and his pass goes to a Dinamo player and they advance, they try a long pass, but Evan is there to break down the attack. 

Dinamo are soon on the offensive again and Josh is put through by Jack, but his shot hits the post.

Spartak have some attacks with Harry, James and Joe, but to no avail.
Dinamo quickly break again and this time Josh is through 'one on one' with Lewis. Lewis stays on his line and stands big and stops Josh's fierce shot. 

The ball breaks down the left and Joe goes on a run he shoots and the ball gets a deflection and goes in. 2-1 to Spartak.

Soon after the goal Dean blows the whistle. It was a great game and the result in my view should have been a Dinamo win! Thanks to Lewis Spartak stayed in the game.
